Lecture 1

What is journalism? Is it the study of things, of us, of life? Is it factual? Is it always opinionated? Is journalism storytelling? Is it history? Can we ever escape journalism? Is it a governing force? Is it a public service?

These are the questions I face as I plunge into the mysterious world of media. These are the questions I intend to answer.
